I've always wanted to travel to Spain, but closest I ever got was to have an overnight layover at the Barcelona airport. I was expecting to starve until shops opened for breakfast, but pleasantly found several food options available in the wee hours of the morning. Including an amazing Serrano ham and manchego cheese sandwich!!

And at San Francisco International, you can get a very delicious chicken brekkie sammie if your gate is in or near the Harvey Milk terminal 🥪🍗

Had a pre-made airport sandwich once that used kale instead of lettuce. It was still a pre-made airport sandwich, but a significantly less limp one.

I was recently in the B concourse in Denver and had a shockingly unsad premade turkey sandwich at Etai’s. Like, would eat again even if the Starbucks line was short and the Starbucks we’ll-warm-it-up sandwich display was fully stocked. (Neither of these things were true last Sunday, when 90,000 people were forecast the Denver airport.)
