The first time I heard of Liquid Death, my husband and I had taken our 15 year old niece to a concert and I could not figure out why teens and tweens were walking around with 40s. Was I so old that 21 year olds now looked like literal children? It was all extremely confusing. But then my husband went to get us water and came back with Liquid Death. Mystery solved but also, yes, so aggressive for just water. I always love your newsletter and this one especially made me giggle.
Such oddly aggressive water! And emotionally unsettling, to drink a flat beverage from an aluminum can. Probably my least pleasant water drinking experience to date.
yesssss New Orleans shows!! And in my actual neighborhood?! Incredible. Lot of good food and drink nearby and even an Alligator Museum if you're into that sort of thing.
I would have LOVED to see you in Batavia! But as you mentioned, it is decidedly NOT Chicago, and being a carless person and it being really cold out, as you mentioned, it wasn't in the cards this time. But NEXT TIME? Okay, we'll see, but hopefully.

Thanks so much! I remember seeing it years ago in a green room refrigerator and being confused!
I really loved that ten-minute set!
Thank you!!
hmm who is this
never heard of ‘em!
You know, I'd noticed a nice uptick in subscriptions the past few days and I couldn't figure out why...but now I know! THE GONDELMAN BUMP IS REAL.
(Thanks, btw)
Heck yeah! Happy to help point people towards your good work!
Being built different than reverent Job has absolutely killed me. I don’t think it’ll be soon that I’ll stop laughing at that.
Thank you!!! <3
dear josh,
congrats and hooray and good luck and everything!
thanks for this as always! you're the best!
(everyone else reading, you're tied for second-best)
love,
myq
You are (the best)!
Josh you do birthdays right. That tower is what I want for my own bday
It was a very good time!
Liquid Death is just WATER? Damn, I thought it was at least seltzer or something.
They also make a seltzer (which is not bad) and some flavored sparkling waters with a little sugar in them (which are legit bad).
I shared the video and hope it gets your algorithm up or down - whichever is better.
Thank you! Unclear which is good, but I am sure you did it!!
I lolled at the aggressive water
:)
That was a lovely set, thank you for posting it!
Thanks for watching!

Hahaha it is always strange that it's (usually) not carbonated!

My hope is I'll be back in Chicago proper soon! I don't know that many people who saw the shows in Batavia had made it out from the city!
