His humor is very English (and I'm a ex-Brit) but I do love this story telling. Some of his bits on Graham Norton are legendary especially "fecal Jackson Pollack" (guests are Jodie Foster, Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe). Side aching stuff!
Hi Josh! New-ish subscriber to the newletter here, so I am not sure if this is the right place for my request. I am wondering if you have, or if not, if you could make, a playlist of your pick-me-up songs? I like the ones I have heard since being subscribed and think a playlist of them would really be swell. (side note- went to a diner recently and they had old yearbooks from the neighborhood high school to peruse while dining and I chose the oldest they had- 1941. All the inscriptions were telling the owner "best of luck to a swell girl" and I was like, "damn, 'swell' is the hot new way to refer to a friend!!" but also in the theatre section of the yearbook was a lot of 1941 teens in blackface, so it wasn't a total win!!!) in any case, please consider my humble request, and we look forward to seeing you in May in Seattle!
There was, at some point, a playlist, but I'm not sure if it's been updated! I will look into creating this! (Also I love "a swell girl" as a descriptor of a friend! See you in Seattle!
That is so cool that you’re interviewing Greg and Alex!! Is it going to be broadcast or streamed?
and btw there is a Taskmaster app for AppleTV (and I assume other boxes) where they have all the shows from the UK and many other countries! Taskmaster Finland is weird but fun
Small clarification: It is perfectly safe (for eating) to buy the evening discounted sushi and sashimi at the markets in Japan. I worked near Niigata about two decades ago. The primary danger is being elbowed (sharp) by the little old ladies that are fighting to get to the counter.
Wait. You get to meet the marvelous Greg Davies? He's my spirit animal.
I did! He was extremely nice and funny!

I’m so excited for taskmaster fever to sweep America! If you haven’t already, I also recommend checking out the foam finger charades!
I'll check for that! The U.S. Taskmaster community felt ROBUST on Monday! :)
dear josh,
this is all wonderful, as always. i mean, marvelous, of course.
in particular, this very much got me: "season, a word that they pronounce as 'series' in the U.K."
Thank you! :)
The Taskmaster segment was so exhilarating
So fun right?
The best day of sporting! And the one guy who got it in one toss and then was DQed

Hahaha fair! Here it is much riskier!
